The Jack Cohen Continuing Education (CE) Fund is a heartfelt tribute to one of AARDA's founding members, Jack Cohen. Jack’s dedication and contributions significantly shaped our industry. We established this award in his memory after his passing in 2017 to continue his legacy by supporting the educational ambitions of our members' families.
This scholarship fund is expressly set aside for children of employees working with Direct Members of AARDA. Whether it's a college degree, an apprenticeship, or specialized training in their chosen field, this award aims to support the next step in their educational journey.
Please mark your calendars, as the application deadline is April 30th of the current year. There are no exceptions to this deadline.
The process is straightforward. Applicants are required to complete a one-page essay as detailed in the Required documentation section of this page. You can email the essay to us or, if preferred, print and mail it to the following address:

Applicants must be ready to enroll in a full-time post-secondary program at an accredited institution or begin a recognized apprenticeship or training program. A parent or guardian must be an actively employed member of a Direct Member company of AARDA for at least a year by the application deadline.
Please note that children of business owners or shareholders are not eligible for this award, with preference given to first-time applicants.
